Princess Gift Box

Altering, covering, repurposing...these activities are SO much fun!
Here's a sweet little box I made just for the fun of it.
~ Princess ~
My daughters received charm bracelets in wonderful paperboard Jewelry boxes with magnet latches and ribbon. They have figured out the ways of the world and traded them to me for chocolate!
To begin with I removed the ribbon and magnet that latched the box.
I covered the box with a Craft Smith journaling card and Love My Tapes washi on the back.

For the front I used Kreaxions tools to make this flower, then dipped the edges in mist.
I replaced the ribbon latch with washi tape.
The embossed Princess Crown adds to the glitz and glam of this box.
Find the Fun Fare stencil I used here.

Butterflies and Flowers

Spring is here...for some of us...and I am loving all the birds and tulip tips I'm seeing!
This card combines bright pink washi tape and lime paper.
I love how it gives the tape a coral tone.

Blessing

Last summer's family photos look great with Authentiques Easter collection for this year. So GLAD I'm a procrastinator! Haha. Or not.
But I am thrilled that these colors are so perfect for my photos.
~ Blessing ~
The inspiration for this layout comes from this weeks challenge at Red Carpet Studio:
Create a Unique Background
Here is my background mid-design.
I used white embossing powder for the flourishes at the top right.
I inked a star mask with grey ink, then used the same mask to add glitter paste stars.
Of course once I matted and set my photos I added more to the page.

Supplies:
 Paper:Authentique
Sentiment:My Mind's Eye
Pigment Ink:Clearsnap
Embossing Powder:Zing
Stamps:Inkadinkado
Gems:Recollections
Wood Bits, Trim:Stash
Star Mask:Memory Box
Ink:CTMH
Glitter Paste:Bo Bunny
Punch:Kreaxions #907

Whisker Lullaby

Drill #53

The Mood Board for this month is all about flowers and contrasting colors.
I particularly like the lime and cobalt tones.

~ Whisker Lullaby ~
We fostered a kitten, rescued from a storm drain and crying piteously in a box at the vet office. He was always a tough little guy and good at finding the warmest spot in the house. Some mornings I would find him under the covers, in my toddler's bed.

Supplies:
Paper:Bo Bunny, October Afternoon, Momenta
Washi:Love My Tapes
Hexagon Punch:Fiskars
Wood Bits, Floss:Stash
Rub-ons:Basic Grey
Alpha, Trim:Webster's Pages
Medallion:Momenta
Stick Pens:Little Yellow Bicycle
